>> 8:01 a.m. and developing is we're following out of east oakland where there was a standoff that is over. the search continues for gunman. will tran reports on the 1100 block of 60 dead ave. >> here is the reason the police believe the suspect was at his house. it was this car. it was here right after the shooting, the victim was able to identify the car. they saw the car around 1030. they were of this place off and made sure that the media was about a quarter mile back to make sure everyone was safe. finally are around 630, up eight hours into the standoff they decided enough was enough. they had a flash bang go off and you can see there are police officers still at the scene. at 630, they got the search warrant and swat team member is fully armed and in body armor and knocked on the door and windows. no one

answered, they went inside and that is when they discovered the suspect was long gone. they have his name over night, they are not releasing it. what happened around 1030, 4 mi. from this location, he shot the victim in the leg with a non fatal injury. the suspect took off from the scene and the suspect went to this location. a lot of neighbors were upset because the police were here throughout the night in a flash bang went out. one neighbor actually yelled at the police department. right now, there searching for him the they know who he is. he is described as an african- american man in his 50s. the neighbors said he kept to himself through out the years. the police apartment know who he is. they said they probably already have his picture on file, they are just waiting to release it.
